No, absolutely not. When in the course of evidence here it was -- well, one report afterwards suggested that I had received secret briefings with material that wasn't in the public domain, I'm afraid I had to carry out my own search, and when I carried out that search, through a freedom of information request, someone had procured all of these MPS briefings.

So that illustrated to me why the media was carrying on 8 August in the evening not only reports of the arrests but reports that there may be other victims of it, and indeed it was through that media report. Presumably there were other oral briefings, since the reports over the next 24 to 48 hours went slightly further.
