Sir, you might say this, but in fact the crucial paragraph comes over the page four paragraphs down where it says:

"The police claim to Leveson raised the possibility for the first time that the Blair government colluded in a cover-up. At the time, according to former ministers, the Labour administration was anxious to keep on good terms with the Murdoch papers."

I wasn't going to go through any of what we've already discussed at some length but to address the issue of whether or not somehow any of this decision not to do anything or take matters any further might have been because of a desire to keep on good term with the Murdoch papers.
