It does say something, does it not, Sir John, about the relationship between politicians and the press that you include within the concerns you've identified the risk that taking on a policy such as this would dwarf everything else that you wanted to do as a government? Because that somewhat echos something that Mr Blair said a week or so ago, that taking on the press would take over at a time when actually he had all sorts of other policies he wished to promote.
