Yes, well, it might be -- there are a number of questions, aren't there, Mr Caplan. Firstly, I am slightly concerned that the PCC left it to Mr Crown to draft a letter; one would have thought they could have done that with the barest of details, and one could then have thought that they would say "Don't you bother sending it to anybody, we will send it to everybody who needs to know". It may be that we will receive some response about that.

But I am sure you will appreciate why, in the light of the fact that this occurred in March, after we had been going four months, if not nine months if you take it from last July, I felt it was important, if the Bowles were prepared to allow this evidence to be deployed.
