Sir, can I take them in order, the civil proceedings first?
The way in which they've progressed, as you'll be aware, is that News International finally made a series of admissions in relation to the case, as best as it could be put by the individual claimants, given, as I say, the fragmentary disclosure which they've been able to obtain.
Once those admissions were made, News International's argument is that there is no need then to provide further disclosure. There is nothing more in terms of being able to really get at what we say is the full picture of what took place. Furthermore, there are no witnesses that they will call to give evidence to explain what took place. That's an entirely different position to what happens in this Inquiry.
